Cruising & Charter

Trinity believes that everyone should have the opportunity to sail on traditional vessels, to increase appreciation of maritime heritage, and experience at first hand life under traditional sail.

Throughout the season time is set aside from sail training to allow for a programme of cruising holidays, on which people can book by the berth, and to enable groups of family or friends to charter an entire vessel.

The revenue from these activities goes towards maintaining the fabric of the vessels, and enables the cost of sail training courses to be kept to a minimum.

In addition to holidays and charter the vessels are also used to run Royal Yachting Association (RYA) structured sail training courses at various levels. We also operate weeks dedicated to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme, and one or more vessels regularly participate in the Tall Ships Races.
